Having one child is expensive.

Having two? Sometimes it seems to require a small fortune. Especially when it comes to strollers.

We had a hard time finding a double stroller that exactly met all of our needs (including the right price), and ended up trying out and testing a lot of them.

And by that I mean... a lot of them. In the end, I felt like we could write an entire Consumer Report on double strollers, as well as design a few ourselves.

We get asked this question quite often.  Double strollers and double jogging strollers are a large financial invesment, and it makes sense that people would hesitate to make that kind of investment if their children are not really going to use the stroller. It is especially hard to make that call when the eldest kid is just at the age where they can go for a while without a stroller.
